Refugio senior Alexa Valenzuela had a heck of a meet as she racked up four gold medals. One of them of course was the 2A girls 100m. Her 12.21 was possible as she pulled away mid race to dash for the win.

Milano senior Devonte Jones has been winning medals at the state meet for the last three years. The 100m gold medal as a senior is one that weighs heavy for him as he was able to drop a 10.73 pulling away from the field mid race.
