PA Salute To Seniors: Isaac Lewis - Cheltenham HS

 

What was your most memorable race/competition?

The 400m at leagues because my hamstring was bothering me but I still ran a good race and had a PR.

 

Where did you face your biggest competition?

At practice was my biggest competition because my team is so competitive we pushed each other every workout. We knew if we can push each other at practice doing good at meets would come easily.

 

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?

Winning indoor and outdoor states the same year.

 

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Pulling my hamstring and running at nationals two weeks later.

 

What will you miss the most?

I will miss my team the most, i don’t know where i would be without them, at the end of the day we are more than just teammates.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Always work up to your to your full potential. At practice always try your best because that’s where greatness starts.

 

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals overall?

Doc Beale and Grossman both influenced my performance on and off the track because they always taught me school first, track second and always told be there is always room for improvement.
