PA Salute To Seniors: Jordan Green - North Penn HS

What was your most memorable race/competition?

2013 states, when my 4x100 made it to the finals and placed 7th.

Where did you face your biggest competition?

The 2014 district 1 finals for the 100meters and 200meters finals because everyone in the finals was really fast haha

Out of all of your high school accompliments, which stands out the most?

My 7th place 4x100 state medal because it was my junior year, my first ever state medal and I was the 4th leg.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in highschool?

I would of tried a lot harder my freshmen year because believe it or not, I ran 13.13 in the 100 meters and 27.6 I think in the 200 meters. Also, I would of tried in the 400 meter so i would of been a better runner.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

During the 2014 surburnan one league meet, I was having back problems on the first day, I wasn't running or jumping well and so I iced and heated my back so the next day i would be running well and I end up PR in two of my events.

What will you miss the most?

Definitely my teammates and coaches and the friends I've made that go to other schools

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Never give up, no matter what your ability is because you never know what your potential is.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals overall?

Coach Jones and Fluck never gave up on me from day 1 even during our bad times. Also, they both taught me that grades were always first and then track.

What are your college plans?

I will be going to Hampton University and I'm hoping to be a walk on

Shout-outs?

To my North Penn coaches and teammates.
