MileSplit continued to hand out their All American awards on Friday, and PA accounted for nearly half of the All American girls 4x800 meter relay teams. Central Bucks South, Strath Haven, and Great Valley were all recognized for their incredible 2014 seasons and earned All American honors!
Central Bucks South won the outdoor state championship with that incredible state record performance of 8:51.49, which ranked US#2 for the 2014 season! CB South also finished 5th at Penn Relays and set new meet records in their league and district championship meets. Indoors, they were 2nd at the Millrose Games, 3rd at the Indoor State Meet, and finished 4th at New Balance Indoor Nationals with an indoor state record performance of 9:07.08!
Strath Haven won the indoor state championship with a meet record time of 9:09.52, finished 7th at the New Balance Indoor National Championships, 8th at Penn Relays, 2nd at District 1 and 2nd at States, breaking the old state record (8:55.39) and finishing with the 4th best time in the country. Great Valley finished 3rd at indoor states, 10th at Penn Relays, 3rd at District 1 and 3rd at states, breaking the 9 minute mark (8:56.82) with the 4th best time in PA history and US#6 for 2014!
