Midwestern Athletic Conference

Lauren Costa of West Allegheny earned a hat trick of gold medals, winning the 100 (12.75, 12.64 prelims), 200 (26.41) and the 100 meter hurdles (15.78). Her teammate Alexis O'Shea managed a hat trick of her own, taking home the 400 (1:00.02) the 800 (2:21.47) and 3200 meter runs (12:06.20).

For the boys, Dominic Peretta of Beaver Falls continues to complete 1600 and 800 meter doubles, running 4:22.78 and a new PA#2 time of 1:53.50! Isacc Elliott of Ambridge Area won the 100 (10.98) and 200 meter dashes (22.67). Ori Rinaman of Mars Area swept the hurdle events, running 14.60 in the 110 meter hurdles and 40.11 in the 300 meter hurdles. Dom Westbay of Shenango won the shot put (52-8) and the discus (PA#7 162-04).

Norwin 9th/10th Grade Invite

Hayden Fox of Hempfield (7) cleared 14-4 to win the boys pole vault. For the girls, his teammate Molly DeBone cleared 10 feet even to win the pole vault.

Tri State Invite (MD)

Devin Folk of Tussey Mountain took home all the gold in the girls sprint events, winning the 100 in 13.59, the 200 in 27.91, and the 400 in 1:02.17. For the boys, Thomas Peppernick of Fanett-Metal threw 156-9 to win the discus.

Millersville Invitational

Clara Forney of Conestoga Valley won the 400 (59.44) and 200 meter dash (26.17). Stephanie Wahl of Cocalico won the long jump with a mark of 17-5, while teammate Emily Stauffer followed up her 5th place finish in the shot put at the Penn Relays with a victory at Millersville in 43-6. Stauffer's throwing teammate McKenzie Hainley threw 125-1 to win the javelin.

For the boys, Nathan Henderson of JP McCaskey won the 1600 and 3200 meter run with a strong 4:24.91 and 9:27.39 double. Billy Cooney of Solanco ran 14.83 to win the 110 meter hurdles. Alex McCord of Warwick clears 6-6 to win the high jump. Teammate Noah Shettel jumped 44-11 to win the triple jump, while Warwick's top thrower Adam Wagaman threw 52-3 to win the shot put.

ASD Invitational

Jaylyn Aminu of Liberty won the 100 (12.49) and 200 meter dashes (25.46). Aspen Gaita of Stroudsburg won the 100 meter hurdles over Mahendra McWhite by .004 seconds, with both athletes running 14.73 to share the PA#8 spot. Gaita also won the 300 meter hurdles in 46.23.

Salisbury had a big day in the girls field events. Holly Szita cleared 5-5 to win the high jump and Kaitlyn Toman cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault. But Lindsay Bauer was the big star in the field, jumping a PA#2 19-2 to win the long jump and 37-9 to win the triple jump.

For the boys, Donovan West of Bethlehem Catholic won the 100 (11.44) and 200 meter dashes (22.72). Khai Samuels of Pleasant Valley ran 1:57.95 to win the 800 meter run. Tyler Crum of Lehighton jumped a PA#3 23 feet even to win the long jump. Darius Jones of Liberty jumped 45-2.50 to win the triple jump. Drew Hess of Wilson (11) threw 184-3 to win the javelin.

Dallastown

Abdul Junaid of West York won the 100 (11.23) and 200 meter dashes (22.86). Tyler Buckley of Susquehannock jumped 44-10.25 to win the triple jump. For the girls, Alexis Baublitz of Central York cleared 10-6 to win the pole vault.

Liz Reid of Lansdale Catholic won the 100 (12.57) and 200 meter dashes (25.49). Madison Langley-Walker of Cheltenham jumped 18-4.25 to win the long jump and 35-8 to win the triple jump.

Mars Invite

Marianne Abdalah of Vincentian Academy sits on top of the state in the 3200 meter run after her under the lights victory in 10:48.14.

Nicole Scherer of Burrell won the 100 (PA#5 12.14) and 200 meter dashes (25.54). Lauren Finikiotis of Oakland Catholic won the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:09.63. Kat Quigley of Pine-Richland swept the high hurdles (14.76) and the intermediate hurdles (PA#7 44.74).

Hickory continued to dominate the throws as Elena Marchand and Tori McKinley went 1-2 in both the shot put and the discus. Marchand won the shot put with a mark of 44-5.50 while McKinley threw 41-10.50 to finish 2nd. In the discus, Marchand threw 135-7 while McKinley threw 125-8. To cap it off, Danielle Collier threw 127-5 to win the javelin.

For the boys, Mike Kolor of Seneca Valley won the 1600 meter run with a new state leading time of 4:16.17! He also ran 1:58.25 to win the 800 meter run.


Miles Sanders of Woodland Hills ran 10.95 to win the 100 meter dash. Woodland Hills ran 42.86 to win the 4x100 meter relay. To cap off the big night for Woodland Hills, Isaiah Brooks won the long jump with a state leading mark of 23-8.

Jacob Heinauer of North Hills (9:33.96) edged out Griffin Mackey of Sewickley Academy (9:34.83) to win the 3200 meter run. Ori Rinaman of the host Mars Area won the 110 meter hurdles (PA#4 14.59) and the 400 meter dash (51.81).

Evan Blaire and Austin Aikins of Hickory did what their female throwing counterparts achieved and that's sweep the shot put and the discus. Blaire threw 53-0.50 to win the shot put ahead of Aikins (52-10.50), while in the discus, Blaire threw 161-9 to Aikins' 161-4.

Northern Bedford

Brittany Krug of Bishop Carroll threw a meet record 130-3 to win the girls javelin. For the boys, Matt Karlheim of Bishop Carroll won the 100 (11.07) and 200 meter dashes (meet record 22.77). Will Kachman of Bedford won the 1600 (4:47.18) and 3200 meter runs (9:54.49). Thomas Peppernick of Fannett-Metal threw a PA#6 to win the discus.

Emily Malone of Hazleton won the girls 100 (12.65) and 200 meter dashes (26.60). For the boys, Luke Rarig of Southern Columbia won the high hurdles (14.80) and the intermediate hurdles (40.73). Rayan Green of Jim Thorpe won the high jump (6-4) and the triple jump (42-4.50). Noah Fritz of Schuylkill Haven threw 51-1 to win the shot put.

Taylor Wolfe of Johnsonburg ran a meet record 2:25.73 to win the 800 meter run. For the boys, Devon Cavanaugh of Coudersport won the 1600 (4:46.66) and 800 meter runs (10:24.25).

Wyalusing Lasagna Invite

Cassidy Jenkins of Lakeland won the 100 meter hurdles (PA#5 14.41) and the 300 meter hurdles (46.39). Breana Gambrell of Athens Area won the 200 (26.83) the long jump (17-9.50) and the triple jump (35-9.50). Erin Feeney of Scranton Prep ran 11:00.01 to win the 3200 meter run.

For the boys, Jack Tidball of Tunkhannock ran 9:40.46 to win the 3200 meter run. Tyler Burger won the 110 meter hurdles (14.87), the long jump (20-9.50) and the high jump (6-2). Zach Darling of Northeast Bradford threw 50-5.25 to win the shot put.

Perkiomen Valley girls ran 9:45.10 to win the 4x800 meter relay. Nina Gambacorta of Garnet Valley won the shot put (40-2.50) and the discus (106-6). Stephanie Hedin of Perkiomen Valley won the 100 meter hurdles (15.87) and the 300 meter hurdles (47.14).

For the boys, freshman Austin Kratz of Christopher Dock won the 100 (11.22) and 200 meter dashes (22.86) and the long jump (20 feet even). Josh Coakley of Twin Valley ran 1:56.73 to win the 800 meter run. Eric Diestelow of West Chester East ran 4:20.83 to win the 1600 meter run.

For the girls, Alexis Auman of Selinsgrove jumped 17-10.25 to win the long jump. Heather Merrifield of Hughesville ran 45.89 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Mackenzie Jones of Danville Area ran 11:13.68 to win the 3200 meter run. Courtney McCartney of Selinsgrove won the shot put (43-5.25) and the discus (125-7).

Jessica Stever of Indiana Area won the 100 meter dash (13.15), the long jump (17-3.50) and the high jump (5-6). Kia Clayton of Saltsburg jumped 37-1.75 to win the triple jump. For the boys, Jacob Kester of Indiana Area cleared 14 feet to win the pole vault.

Westmoreland County

Maddy Mueseler of Greater Latrobe is now the state leader in the 300 meter hurdles, recording the first sub 43 second time in the event with a winning time of 42.86 to set a stadium record. She also added a 200 meter win in 25.26. Kelsey Plecenik of Norwin cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault. Lauren George of Hempfield (7) jumped 17-9.75 to win the long jump and 35-5.75 to win the triple jump.

For the boys, Nick Wagner of Penn Trafford (1:56.32) edged out Trey Quealy of Norwin (1:56.44) to win the 800 meter run. Lawson Monta of Greensburg Salem threw 160 feet to win the discus. Cody Henry of Greater Latrobe threw 50-10.25 to win the shot put.

Karli Visconto of Nazareth Academy ran 2:15.44 to win the 800 meter run. Evelyn Berecz of Downingtown East jumped 36-6.50 to win the triple jump. Erin Sample of Nazareth Academy threw 41-5.75 to win the shot put.

For the boys, Colin Abert of Easton continues to find his groove, running 4:19.41 to win the 1600 meter run. His teammate Kevin Lapsansky ran 9:46.38 to win the 3200 meter run. Shamir Weeks-Hunter of Glen Mills threw 50 feet even to win the shot put, giving Glen Mills two 50 plus foot throwers. Evan Sing of Penncrest threw 192-10 to win the javelin.

Riley Leisman of Canon-McMillan won the 100 (12.55) and 200 meter dashes (26.05). Koryn Jozwiakowski of Fort Cherry won the long jump (16-8.25) and the triple jump (36-4.75).

For the boys, DeQuay Isbell of Washington won the 100 (11.24), 200 (22.73) and 400 meter dashes (49.97). Ethan Linderman of Canon-McMillan won the 1600 (4:26.87) and the 3200 meter runs (9:43.66). Zack Blystone of Washington threw 50-8.50 to win the shot put.
