Four of the eight class leaders, or 50%, were changed after a weekend full of big meets and big performances!
The Downingtown West Hoey brothers, senior Jaxson and sophomore Josh, are now top of the state in their respective classes. Josh's 15:40 shares the #14 spot on the national sophomore list for the 2015 season! Jaxson's 15:28 is a personal best and his 5th straight sub 16 minute performance!
Teammate Aislinn Devlin is now the top junior in the state after her Carlisle Invite winning 18:04 on Saturday. It is her 2nd fastest time of her career and both of them have taken place at Carlisle. Her 18:04 is also the 32nd fastest time in the junior class nationally this season! Abby Yourkavitch of Chambersburg ran 18:13 to finish 3rd in that race and is now the top ranked sophomore in the state!
Griffin Mackey of Sewickley Academy has been the top boys junior in the state since the opening weekend, while Kiele Riefenstahl of Saucon Valley has been the top freshmen girl since day 1 as well! Both will compete on Friday at the Paul Short Run!
