District 11 Girls Preview: Riefenstahl looks for 1st title! Kochmaruk goes for repeat!

Class AAA

Raisa Kochmaruk of Liberty will be defending her 2nd major title in a week tomorrow after repeating as Eastern PA Conference champ last week. Diana Hammerstone of Easton finished 2nd in that same race last week and the rematch should be a good one. Katie Bacher of Emmaus will also be in the mix. She will also look to lead her team to one of the state qualifying berths against Easton and Stroudsburg. Easton won the PTXC 7 meet and have been running freight train since. They will be favorites for the top spot. Emmaus and Stroudsburg will go for the 2nd spot. If Emmaus can keep four and five ahead of Stroudsburg, it will give them a good chance to advance.

VIRTUAL MEET

Class AA

Kiele Riefenstahl of Saucon Valley has been unstoppable so far this season. The freshman has yet to lose to a PA athlete this season and on Thursday she will be going for her first career district title. Colleen Daday of Allentown Central Catholic and Kassi Yocco of Bethlehem Catholic will look to upset the young superstar and reclaim their spot on top of the division. Daday will look to lead her team to a district title against a strong Northwestern Lehigh squad that have been consistent all season long. Tamaqua and Bethlehem Catholic will look to sneak in should either of those two teams slip up.
