WATCH: LaSalle Fly to PA#1 4x200

The LaSalle College boys turned a lot of heads on Saturday. The Pioneer men certainly had the pieces, it was just a matter of putting it together in a fast relay on a fast track. They got that opportunity at the Ocean Breeze High School Invitational in Staten Island this past weekend.

The team of Winston Eubanks, Kyle Johnson, Chris Della Donna, and Charles Headen took second in the hot heat of the 4x200 meter relay on Saturday, knocking Downingtown West off that top spot in the state--a spot the Whippets held since the Bishop Loughlin Games (and later improved upon at the Hispanic Games). LaSalle's 1:30.79 takes over as PA#1 by .08.  South Shore, who botched their first handoff was too much for LaSalle, but second in this competitive field is certainly something for this team to be excited about.

North Penn took third in the heat with a new PA#4 time of 1:31.61. Meanwhile, Glen Mills, who didn't run in the finals after a blistering PA#3 1:30.99 in the prelims, solidified themselves as a contender. Have a look at the finals results below:
