Back on December 30, North Penn vaulted to the top of the state in the 4x800 at Ocean Breeze. They returned to the scene of the crime this past Sunday, and bested their own PA#1 with a time that stood almost exactly a month to the day.

And Saturday's 4x800 comes just two days after North Penn set a new PA#1 in the DMR. The team of Ariana Gardizy, Mikaela Vlasic, Natalie Kwortnik, and Phoebe Clowser took the lead early and never had to look back, finishing in 9:24.14, four seconds faster than their previous season best. North Penn remains at US#7, but moves closer to a crowded group up front. North Rockland from New York sits at US#1 with a 9:21.13 only 3.01 seconds faster than North Penn. What can the Maidens do if they're contested?
This heat also featured some more PA talent. Cardinal O'Hara took second for a new PA#2. Friends' Central finished fifth in a PA#9 and Villa Joseph Marie was sixth in a PA#10.
