DVGTCA Indoor Meet #7

RELAYS: In the 4x800, we could see some sparks fly. Pennsbury, North Penn, Central Bucks WestRidley, and Villa Joseph Marie all have some fast seed times. The 4x200 should shape up to be a battle between Norristown and Imhotep. Norristown is, however, entered in the 4x200 at the Armory on Saturday, so it will be seen if they attempt it fast both nights. Norristown may also go after a 4x400 with North Penn and Perkiomen Valley also posting fast seed times.

SPRINTS/HURDLES: Now that she's got that state record in the hurdles out of the way, Chanel Brissett of Cheltenham will turn her attention back to the dash. Brissett comes int he 60m dash as the top seed with Pennridge's Kouri Peace coming off a solid Ocean Breeze meet. Expect some fast times for sure with Brissett and Peace pushing each other. Cheltenham's Madison Langley-Walker, who we shouldn't forget ran a PA#2 8.80 in the 60m hurdles at Penn State during Brissett's record run, will return to the hurdles. She'll be the top seed, with Perkiomen Valley's Christina Warren and her PA#8 in the event looking to improve her placing. Plymouth Whitemarsh's Ayana Tull (PA#13) and Central's Taylar Dallas (PA#8) will be on the line as well. Jayana Webb of Norristown enters as the top seed in the 200 meters in a field that also includes Perk Valley's Cheyenne Churchville

DISTANCE: The 3000 features Cardinal O'Hara's Elizabeth Mancini and Perkiomen Valley's Annie Glodek in what should be an exciting race. The 800 will be a matchup between Lansdale Catholic's Kayla Connelly and North Penn's Mikaela Vlasic, with Perkiomen Valley freshman Jocelyn Rotay looking to make an impression in her indoor open debut.

FIELD: Evelyn Berecz of Downingtown East (PA#4 TJ) is favored in the triple jump along with North Penn's Allison Williams (PA#7) Warren of Perk Valley will also compete in the long jump in addition to the hurdles. She's PA#5 in the event. Alison Jones of Archbishop Ryan (PA#8) and Williams of North Penn will look to challenge. In the pole vault, the Council Rock South duo of Dominique Franco and Savannah Wood will be heavily favored. Janese Lynch of Neumann Goretti will look to build on her PA#2 in the shot put. Lower Merion's Vanessa Poe and Garnet Valley's Nina Gambacorta are also entered in the shot.
