Everyone will be chasing the reigning state champions from Cheltenham. The Panthers have been
unstoppable against PA competition this season. They ran a PA#1 of 46.36 back
at the Penn Relays and they'll be hunting for a sub-46 second performance at
Ship. Certainly the PIAA meet record of 46.39 by Harry S. Truman from 1999 will
be on their minds.
Pennridge, Norristown and Central Bucks South will be trying to hunt down Cheltenham or take advantage of any miscues. Pennridge got the best of Norristown and CB South at District 1, but Norristown has the better season time of 47.08 from Penn. Meanwhile, CB South has flown under the radar this season, but they have the pieces (and a season best of 47.49) to pull off a big race at Ship.
State College, Methacton, and Pennsbury will also all be on the hunt of medals in this fast relay.
