AA saw a big shakeup when Hunter Robinson, a standout from Harrison High School in Georgia moved to PA with her sister Hayden. Hunter, a sophomore, ran 54.30 in the 400 as a freshman in Georgia, and she's brought her game to the Keystone State.

Hunter Robinson won the District 7 title last week in 56.54 and enters the state meet as the favorite. McConnellsburg's McKenzie Gelvin, the pride of District 5, ran 57.04 to win at districts last week and Gelvin will certainly be one to watch this week. Swenson's Jada Smith went under 57 seconds at the Philly Public League Champs and will look to do the same this week. Emily Ledbetter of Beaver Area ran 57.03 earlier in the season and can get in the conversation. Richland's Samantha Felton, the District 6 champ, should be there too. The Villa Maria duo of Taniah Stephens and Grace Brown will come in as potential medal threats.
