Three throwers have separated themselves from the field in
the AA javelin throw. Bedford's August
Cook and Richland's Ethan Dabbs
are the two who have thrown over 200 feet in the jav this spring. Elk Lake's Hunter Watkins is right on the cusp
with a PR of 199-1.
Cook and Dabbs have traded off that top state spot this season. Cook recently threw 209-8 to take the win at District 5 title.
Outside of those three, Biglersville Ben Hurda and Dunmore's Gavin Darcy are also in the hunt for solid podium finishes.
