Dahl looks for exclamation point to junior season

Germantown Friends' Nicholas Dahl ended his sophomore season in a big way last season, running 9:01 to take third in the 2 mile at outdoor nationals. 2016 has been another great season for Dahl. He still holds up as PA#1 in the 3200 after his win at the Henderson Invite. He was a triple winner at the Friends' School Champs and he PR'd for the mile at the John Hay Distance Festival.
This weekend, Dahl will likely have his sights set on that 9-minute barrier in the two mile. He's come tantalizingly close on multiple occasions in the event. With no PIAA schedule to worry about, he is probably in a training cycle that will allow him to peak nicely for this race and Dahl should be in line for a big race.
