Josh Hoey is transferring to Bishop Shanahan for his junior season, Shanahan coach Peter Uhlman confirmed to PennTrackXC.
Josh will be joined at Shanahan by his younger brother Jonah, who will be a freshman this year.
Josh Hoey, who competed last season at Downingtown West, was third in AAA boys at the PIAA State Cross Country Championships last fall. He was second to his brother Jaxson in the mile at indoor states. Josh went on to win the high school boys' invitational mile at the Penn Relays, running a time of 4:11.90. He was third in the 1600 at outdoor states.
