Week 2: 7/25 - 7/31

Monday: 60 minutes. Coach gave me a heart rate monitor as a "gift"... I'm not fully sure if I like it or not but I fuss I have no choice.

Tuesday: 60 minutes. Having a group of guys to run with besides Sam is a great feeling. Hopefully we get to pick up the pace soon, still running what slow but only running with a heart rate monitor is hard to really tell. 

Wednesday: 63 minute morning run on some very nice trails! Haven't had to run on the same trial twice yet which is very nice.
Thursday: 60 minutes in the afternoon, little rain felt great because of the warm weather. The team is really starting to come together.

Friday: 40 minutes very slow with a few short hill sprints afterwards. The temperature is finally starting to drop in the afternoon.

Saturday: 70 minutes in the Appalachian mountains. On the Down hills my heart rate got down to 144 and on the hills when we chose to tempo it got up to 193! Great run overall today, the guys are finding their role on the team... Ready for a long great season! 

Sunday: 25 minute light recovery jog around the meadows golf course on post!
