Sharon's Jordan Williams leads a strong field into Sharpsville on Saturday. Williams won earlier this season at the Hornet Harrier Invitational to start her senior year. Quaker Valley will be a team to watch. Anna Pawloski took fourth at the Red, White & Blue Classic a few weeks ago to open up her season. Along with Lucie Kubinski and Audrey Durbin, they should be a factor on Saturday.

Union City's Alyssa Boyd has been off to a strong start this season. She's been top ten in three invites to open up her season, and she'll look to keep the trend going on Saturday. Franklin Area's Savanna Carr took second at the Big Red Invitational and fifth in Altoona and should be in line for a big race at Sharpsville.

Other contenders include Greater Latrobe's Maria Cawoski, Franklin Regional's Sterling Simek, and Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic's Rylee Kopchak.

Quaker Valley's Zach Skolnekovich's quest for a AA state championship got off to a great start two weeks ago when he won the Red, White & Blue Classic. He'll look to keep it rolling into Saturday at Sharpsville where he'll try to defend his invite title from yesterday.

Franklin Regional's Mark Provenzo has also gotten off to a good start in his senior season. Provenzo (above) was second to Skolnekovich at Red, White & Blue and he was the top PA finisher in the D1 race at Boardman in Ohio last week. He'll try to challenge Skolnekovich on Saturday.

Cambridge Springs' Connor Walsh was first at McDowell and second at Big Red. He should contend with the front runners. Harbor Creek's Ryan Starveggi, Hickory's Chad Grundy, and Fort Leboeuf's Jake Lehotsky make up an impressive boys field. Josh Hill from Amherst Steele in Ohio could also factor in.
