Ben Bumgarner made it two wins in two weeks, this time with the W coming at the A.J. Everhart Uniontown Invitational. The Waynesburg Central senior went under 16 for the first time in his career with a 15:49. He also won last week at the Boardman Invite in Ohio. Bumgarner won this invite last year as well, but was nearly a minute faster.

Baldwin's Casey Conboy took second, just off Bumgarner with a 15:51. His teammate Jack Mezeivitch was second in a time of 16:49. Baldwin ran away with the team title, beating host Uniontown by 40. Here's a look at the Baldwin squads times:

In the girls' race freshman Gionna Quarzo took the win in a very fast 19:05, running away from the rest of the field. The Brownville Area runner was 39 seconds ahead of Plum frosh Angela Valotta. Both Quarzo and Valotta are next in a long line of PA freshmen girls who have made quite an impact on the 2016 XC season.

The Forest Hills girls claimed the team win, behind strong races from Tricia Varner and Emily Montag. Brownsville was second and Warren County took third. Here's the team breakdown for Forest Hills:
