WATCH: Aislinn Devlin run 17:44 in her season-opening 5K in the Carlisle Girls' Puma Challenge

Downingtown West's Aislinn Devlin has shown up this season in a pair of two mile races to open up her senior season. We saw her at the Oakbourne Relays and then at NJ's Cherokee Challenge. But she was yet to run a 5K in an invitational setting until Saturday.

In a loaded field, Devlin took control of the race, but was caught late in the race by Padua Academy's Lydia Olivere (Delaware's top girl) for the win. Still, Devlin came away with a state-leading 17:44 in a race where the times were flying.

Watch the girls' Puma Challenge, shot by PennTrackXC contributor Bill Shearn, above and check out the individual and team results below. Watch, too, for the strong Manheim Township team that came away team champions by just two points.
