Aislinn Devlin has been named Gatorade Pennsylvania Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, announced yesterday.

The Downingtown West senior capped off a great cross country career with an amazing senior season. This fall, Devlin won the Ches-Mont individual title for the third straight season. She won the PIAA District 1 championship in a 5K PR of 17:12. Then in a dramatic sprint to the finish, Devlin won her first PIAA state cross country title at Hershey's Parkview course in 17:44.

Devlin went on to win the Nike Cross Northeast Regional for a second straight season before placing 45th at Nike Cross Nationals in Portland.

Devlin will attend Harvard University with fellow Pennsylvania standouts Anna Juul and Abbe Goldstein.
