The DVG girls threw down on Friday night at Lehigh and we came away with some moving times.

The DMR was absolutely loaded with a number of teams we're sure to see contending for a state title later this month. In total, 10 teams hit the state qualifying standard and 15 hit the MOCs standard. North Penn came out on top, running 12:20.30, a PA#2 for the win. Cardinal O'Hara was third in 12:22.68, a PA#3, and Perkiomen Valley ran a PA#4 12:24.87 for third.

Girard College's Thelma Davies returned to the track for the first time since last month's Hispanic Games. Davies took a convincing win in the 60 meters, running a state leader of 7.70 for the win. The sophomore is slightly ahead of schedule from where she was year (a year where she won a state title.

Upper Dublin's Madison Langley-Walker clocked a season best and PA#4 of 8.92 in the 60-meter hurdles to take the win. But perhaps more impressively, Langley-Walker won the triple jump with a big leap of 39-1.5. That's a PA#2 and just off her career best in the event.

Cheltenham's Bria Barnes continued to show her quarter mile speed on Friday. Barnes won the 400 meters 58.62. Springfield's Sydni Stovall took the win in the 600 meters (1:38.26), while Pennsbury's Lizzy Kirk won a close and competitive 800 meters (2:20.81). In another competitive race, Abington's Kelly Jawork picked up another win this week, this time in the mile. Jawork ran 5:12.63 for the win.

Neumann Goretti won the 4x400 in 4:04.19, just off its season best from last weekend. North Penn, meanwhile, continues to prove they can be a serious contender in the 4x200, winning in 1:46.88.

Souderton's Moira O'Malley won the high jump, clearing 5-4, while Council Rock North's Marissa Hsu won the long jump with a leap of 17-2.5. Springside Chestnut Hill's Elizabeth Jefferson continued her winning ways in the pole vault, winning with a clearance of 11-6. Neshaminy's Keturah Legette won the shot put with a throw of 36-8.
