Colonial Relays - Meet Preview

Performance List

A few strong PA teams will start there seasons off in some warmer weather. The Colonial Relays will be the starting point for some squads as they head to Williamsburg, Virginia for some fast early season times in what they hope are some warm conditions.

LaSalle is sending a fleet down south. Watch for the Explorers in the 4x800 and DMR with its depth of middle distance runners. Evan Addison and Brendan Price are both entered in the 800 meters as well. Stephen Paul is the top PA entry in the 3000 meters. In the sprints, watch for Octavious Carter in the 100 meters. He should be a threat in that event this spring. Peter Nelson is a strong entry in the 400 meters. Alex Sislo should contend in both the high jump and long jump.

Wyomissing Area's Joe Cullen, fresh off a strong indoor season, will look to start things off well this outdoor season. He's entered in the mile, which also includes Virgina standout Waleed Suliman.

The Upper Dublin girls should be on your radar in VA this weekend. They are led by Madison Langley-Walker, who will make her outdoor debut in a Cardinals' uniform. Langley-Walker, per usual, will have a busy weekend. She's the top seed in the 100 meter hurdles, the long jump, and the triple jump. The junior will be a state medal threat in all those events this season. Tabb (VA)'s Maya Hanks will give her a good challenge in the jumps.

For Upper Darby, watch for Michelle Brown-Jones in the long jump and Victoria Robinson in the 100 meter hurdles. Greencastle-Antrim's Lauren Hirneisen is entered in the mile and should get some good competition there.
