Golden Ram High School Invitational - Meet Recap
At West Chester University this weekend, Myrissa Mcfolling-Young of Smyrna High School threw 140 ft. 5 in. in the girl's discus. Mcfolling-Young also came back to win the shot put with a throw of 43 ft. 3 in.
The girl's high jump was competitive between Kayla Gillen of Twin Valley and Beyonce Kelly of Harford Tech. Both girls jumped 5' 4" with Gillen taking the win.
On the track, the girl's 1600m was dominated by Emily Craig of Maryvale Prep in a 5:12.80.
The girls' 400m was won by Alyssa Armor of William Penn in a fast time of 58.03 .
In the boys shot, a pair from Glen Mills boys went 1-2 for the win. Semaj Robins threw 52-2.75 and Quadir Gibson threw 55-1.75 for second place. On the track, Anthony Harper of Monsignor Bonner ran a 4:27.13 for the win in the 1600m run.
