Thelma Davies Sweeps AA 100 & 200 Meters Again!
In Class AA, there is one sprint queen: Thelma Davies of Girard College.
For a second straight season, Davies stood atop the podium in the AA 100 meters and 200 meters, completing another incredible day at the state meet. In the 100 meters, Davies ran 11.62 to dominate the competition and then she came back to run 24.15 in the 200 meter finals for another convincing win.
While there were no meet records broken like last year, Davies continues to prove that she is practically unstoppable. We still have two more years to watch the star improve even more.
