----------

What was your most memorable race/competition?

My most memorable race was Paul Short 2015, where Hempfield (3) dominated both the Brown race and JV race.

Where did you face your biggest competition?

My biggest competition was at the Carlisle Invitational in 2016. There was many out of state teams and high level competitors.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?

My high school accomplishment that stands out the most to me is my 6:39 steeplechase at the Cy Fritz Invitational. With that time I was then ranked 4th in the state for steeple.

If you could do it all over again, what would you change about your athletic career in high school?

If I could do it all over again I would have ran the 800 more. I feel that I could have worked on my finishing speed.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

In the 2015 cross country season, I had some slower races than what I had hoped for. I had been the alternate for our District 3 winning team in 2014, and hoped to be be in the varsity mix for the 2015 season. My senior year I was able to bounce back to that same level of success.

What will you miss the most?

I'm definitely going to miss my teammates. Hempfield always have a very close knit team.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Have fun with running. Don't over stress races.

How have your coaches influenced your performances and your life goals overall?

I've had four great coaches in cross country and track. My coaches have helped to build my love for the sport. They have also made me a better person. They have helped me to pursue my very best.

What are your post-high school plans?

I will be running at York College of Pennsylvania and studying Mechanical Engineering.

Shout-Outs?

My parents, they have always supported my running. My boy, D-Raids, who has always made running funny. One of my high school coaches, Matthew Groff, and last but not least my coach, Jeff Bradley.
