D3-A Boys - Team Breakdown

Camp Hill will go for its fifth straight district title this fall. The 2015 PIAA Class state champs were tenth last year, but will have some replenishing to do on its roster going into this fall. Camp Hill's top three has graduated, so to keep the streak in tact there's some rebuilding that will have to take place.

Last fall, Tulpehocken and Delone Catholic both scored 93 points, but it was Tulpehocken that had the sixth runner advantage and earned the second state qualifying spot. Tulpehocken returns five of seven from last year's team, including 2016 top runner Jacob Cox.

Delone, meanwhile, returns all seven from last year's team and will look to get one of those state spots. As a freshman, Adler Brininger led the way for Delone, and now as a sophomore, he'll look to do the same. Kutztown Area was fourth in 2016, and brings back six of seven. Kutztown was only seven points off Tulpehocken and Delone last season, so it will look to get over that hump in 2017.

York Catholic was also in the mix last fall, and with five returners, look for them to contend as well in what looks like a wide open battle for the title in District 3 Class A.
