2016 was a breakthrough season for the Jenkintown boys put forth a dominating team effort for the district victory, scoring just 25 points. Jack Miller and Joshua Jackson placed second and third at districts and both will return this season. Two others return from Jenkintown's varsity team, as it looks for the repeat.
Jenkintown took sixth at states and will look to improve upon that this season, and it may have the pieces to make even more noise this season.
Dock Mennonite was second last season, on the outside looking in of a states spot. It returns a good deal from varsity last year, and could certainly give a strong challenge to Jenkintown if some other runners step up. Calvary Christian, Church Farm, and Devon Prep are other teams looking to get in the mix in Class A this fall.
