Some District 10 teams gathered in Hermitage to kick off their XC season.
Senior Zachary Tingley of Lakeside won the boy's race on Saturday, opening up his season running 16:43.59.
Shenango boys won the team race, led by senior Matt Salem. The Cochranton boys came in second by only 3 points. Cochranton sophomore, Noah Bernarding got second overall running 16:58.17.
Hickory was third overall on their home course. Their team was led by freshman Cole Frazier.
Lakeside also won the girls race, led by sophomore Claire Oliver. The Wilmington girls were second, led by freshman Grace Mason, who was third overall individually.
Individually, freshman Gianna Labbiento of Sharon won the girls' race in 19:04.14.
Abby Hutchison led the Neshannock ladies on Saturday running 19:52.42 for fourth place individually.
