BLUE RACE
After a big spring, Tyler Leeser was ready to show what he's got on the trails. The Milton Area senior found himself in a small pack past the midway point in the Blue Race. But he felt good a ran a solid last mile to gap the field and take the victory in 16:35.
Elzabethtown's Christopher Scharf and Ridley's Zack Forney took second and third repstively in the race, running strong in that pack. Both runners have asserted themselves as factors in the overall XC scene in PA with those solid performances. Juniata's Garrett Baublitz took fourth.
Loudoun Valley cleaned up, winning the Blue Race (in addition to the Gold Race) by putting four boys inside the top ten. Milton Area, behind Leeser's win took second and Red Land was third.
