Starliper Flies, LaSalle Impresses: Carlisle Invitational Recap

Carlisle Invitational - Girls' Champions Race Recap

Kate Rathman of Cherokee (NJ) pulled away to take the Champions Race in a strong 19:06. It's also a nice PR for Rathman, who went 19:22 earlier in the season to win at the South Jersey Shootout.

Northeastern's Margaret Carroll also ran an impressive race. The freshman posted a strong personal best, which included a nice kick to take second in 19:28. She outlasted Eastern York's Olivia McLain (third in 19:30) and the John Handley (VA) duo of Kenzi Fergus and Kristin Blake.

Lower Dauphin, led by a seventh place finish by Sydney Koons in 19:37, took the team win with 109 points. Upper Dublin was second with 173 points, just three points ahead of third place John Handley.
