Sharon's Gianna Labbiento has had quite the start to her high school career.
The freshman went 18:51 to pull away for the win in the girls' small schools race. It's the fourth win of the season for Labbiento, who also claimed wins at Hickory, West Middlesex, and Commodore Perry this season That's a PR, as well, for Labbiento.
In the large schools race, Mount Lebanon, led by the duo of Allison Small (15th in 20:07) and Aoife-Ruby Dunne (16th in 20:07), took fifth as a team. Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic's Katherine Fedko took 19th in 20:20.
BOYS RECAP
PA#3 Mount Lebanon took their talents, once again, across state lines for the Legends Meet in Ohio.
Lebo walked away with a second place finish to Ohio's St. Ignatius, which is ranked #7 in Ohio's D1. Patrick Anderson led for way for Mount Lebanon, placing 11th in 16:25. Peter Cosentino wasn't far behind, taking 13th in 16:30. Bryce Brandenstein was 21st in 16:50.
The top PA finisher in the field Tristan Forsythe of Winchester Thurston, who took tenth in 16:25 just ahead of Anderson.
