Pickerington Central's Crockett Schooler will compete for the University of Pittsburgh

Pickerington Central's Crockett Schooler will continue his track career for the Pitt Panthers.

Congratulations to Pickerington Central's Crockett Schooler on his decision to compete for the University of Pittsburgh next year!  MileSplit Ohio learned about this news through Schooler's recent Twitter post:

Crockett Schooler is an indoor and outdoor hurdles specialist and he holds impressive PR's of:

- 60m hurdles (indoor) - 8.24

- 110m hurdles (outdoor) - 14.31

- 300m hurdles (outdoor) - 38.19

While the hurdles' events are his forte, Schooler is also a key member of the PC Tigers' 4 x 400m relay team and he occasionally competes in the individual 400m, where his current PR stands at 50.94 (indoor).

Coach Tremayne Peppers indicated that he is very proud of his athlete for the decision that he's made and he commended Schooler for being, "a great young man and a leader at Pickerington Central since day one."

Good luck to Crockett Schooler next year as he continues his track career as a member of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers.

Crockett Schooler will be one of the state's top returning hurdlers in 2018.
