State titles were retained on Saturday, as both the Germantown Academy girls and the Germantown Friends boys repeated as independent schools champions at Belmont Plateau. Both the team and individual races were much closer than last season, though.
On the girls' side, a freshman---Emma Zwall of Penn Charter---took the win, while senior Elias Lindgren of Episcopal Academy won the boys' side. Check out race recaps and other meet coverage links below:
