AT&T Coaches Hall Of Fame Invitational
When: Saturday, December 16
Where: The Armory Track & Field Center (New York, NY)
Why: The annual Armory kick-off event always produces some exciting events early in the season. Last year, Pennsylvania made a big mid-December impact at the Hall Of Fame Invite. PA swept the invitational mile races with Unionville's Anna Juul taking first in the girls' race and Bishop Shanahan's Josh Hoey doing the same in the boys' race. Those were also auto-qualifiers to the Millrose Games in February. Also at that meet, Germantown Academy's Kyle Garland made a big statement, clearing 6-10 in the high jump, a height he'd match a few more times before breaking the state meet record a few months later.
We'll see this year if anyone from PA will look to get that Millrose qualifier out of the way early on.
