Imhotep's Kristian Marche continues to make noise in the sprints. He was already PA#1 in the 60 meters, and on Saturday, he added a PA#1 time in the 55 meters. Marche blasted a 6.38 in the finals of the 55 meters to capture the win and the state lead, along with a US#4 time.

It was also a big day once again for Armonte Paulk of Hill-Freedman. The senior took home the win in the Invitational 400 meters, edging out Saint Joseph's Prep's Miles Green for the victory. Paulk improved upon his own PA#1 in the quarter mile, dropping a 49.42. Green took second in a PA#2 49.47

Paulk also took fifth in the 55 meter final matching his own best and PA#3 of 6.49. Girard College's Donovan Sanders also had a big day in the sprints. He ran 6.68 (PA#10) in the prelims and finals of the 55 meters to place eighth. He also took fifth in the finals of the 200 meters 22.56 (PA#6).

Salim Epps of Saint Joseph's Prep also made a nice impression. The sophomore took third in the Varsity section of the 400 meters in a PA#3 time of 50.29.


Germantown Academy's Kyle Garland posted yet another multi-win day at a major meet. The senior won the 55 meter hurdles in a time of 7.28 to break a meet record that had stood since 2012. It's also just off Garland's own US#1 in the event, 7.25. Garland also won the high jump, clearing 6-8. He placed sixth in the finals of the 200 meters, too.

In the 55 meter hurdle final, Pennsbury's Nasan Robbins took fourth in a PA#5 7.81. Ramir Wiggins of Norristown took sixth in the finals of the 55 meter hurdles in 7.89, a PA#8.

Norristown's Austin Montgomery took third in the finals of the 200 meters. He ran 22.39 in the prelims and then 22.40 in the finals. He already sits at PA#2 in the event with a best of 22.30 from last week.

Caleb Johnson of Germantown Academy matched his own PA#4 and PR in the pole vault. Johnson jumped 15-0 to take second place for a second straight week at the Armory.

Akeem Cooper of Imhotep put together a strong day in the jumps. He took third in the long jump with a leap of 21-5.25 and placed fifth in the triple jump with a best jump of 43-6.


Cheltenham's Jason Cornelison put down the fastest 2 mile in the state. Cornelison ran 9:34.90 to take fifth in the invitational section of the event. Avery Lederer of Penncrest ran 9:41.18 for 11th and a PA#2.

Quakertown's Hudson Delisle ran a PA#8 in the 800 meters, clocking in at 1:58.77 to place seventh overall.

The Father Judge boys were the top Pennsylvania boys 4x400 meter relay, running 3:31.42 for a new PA#6 time.
