Girls' Preview

TRACK

Neumann Goretti will aim to have a big day on the track. Eliza Brooks and Mykala Perry are the top seeds in the 60 meter dash. In the 60-meter hurdles, NG's Sydni Townsend is the top seed. She's enters at PA#9 in the event. Townsend also the top seed in the 400 meters and her best competition there will come from teammates Perry and Dasia Wilson. In the 200, Townsend, Brooks, and Perry will battle for the win.

In the mile, the Mancini sisters will look to go 1-2-3. Elizabeth Mancini, Christine Mancini, and Eleanor Mancini are the top seeded entries there. Christine Mancini is also the top seed in the 800 meters, but Wilson from NG should be strong in that field, too. Elizabeth Mancini is PA#5 in the 3K and will look to take the win there.


FIELD

Bishop McDevitt's Blair Knuckle will look for another big clearance in the high jump. She's at PA#6 on the season. Hannah Bierling (shot put) and Hannah Oropollo (pole vault) are a pair of tops seeds in their respective events from Msgr. Bonner & Arbp. Prendie. Kelsey Sebwe of Archbishop Ryan is the top seed in the long jump, while Conwell Egan's Theresa Richardson headlines the triple jump field. 



Boys' Preview

TRACK

Miles Green of Saint Joseph's Prep will look to have a big day on the track at PCLs. Green is the one to beat in the 60-meter hurdles and the 400 meters, where he's the top-ranked athlete in both events. 

In the 60 meters, Octavious Carter of LaSalle is the top seed, but he could get a good challenge from Bishop McDevitt's Tyler Byrd. In the 200 meters, Father Judge's Joe Cassidy is the top seed, though SJP's Salim Epps will be strong in that field, too.

LaSalle has the top five seeds in the mile, led by senior Evan Addison. Look for the Explorers to work together to run the table in that event. Addison is also entered in the 800 meters, which should be a very competitive race. The top seed is Kamil Jihad of Neumann Goretti, who sits at PA#3 entering the weekend. SJP's Robert Dupell is also entered to make this a good one. The 3,000 meters could also be a LaSalle show. Ethan Maher is the top seed, while Bradden Koors and Jack Seiberlich should also be strong in the field.


FIELD

In the long jump, the one to beat is Isaiah Ritchie of Saint Joseph's Prep. He's the overwhelming favorite, entering PCLs at PA#7 in the event He's also the top seed in both the triple jump and pole vault.

LaSalle's Jonathon Squadrito is the top seed in the high jump. The reigning outdoor AAA state champ has jumped 6-7 this season and is PA#3. Conwell Egan's Quameer Francis leads the shot putters into Sunday. He sits at PA#12 into the weekend.
