Individuals Breakdown: District 4 Boys

D4-AA Boys - Individuals Breakdown

With the graduation of Isaac Davis and Quinn Serfass, a pair of former District 4 AA champions, the race for the top spot this season will be wide open at Bloomsburg.

The top returner based on districts finish last year is Kellan Guinn-Bailey, who placed fourth a year ago to pace Milton Area. He wound up 56th at states. Look for Guinn-Bailey to be in the mix for the win this season.

Alejandro Quintana of Loyalsock Township will be in contention, too. After a sixth place districts finish, Quintana ran a terrific states race, placing 30th and giving his sixth place team some crucial low points. Quintana will look to bring the individual title back into Loyalsock's possession.

The Mount Carmel Area duo of Derek Lawler and Krystof Lapotsky will make some noise in AA this fall, moving over from 1A. Lawler, just as freshman last year, took 42nd at states. Lapotsky was a state qualifier in the 3,200 meters this past spring, running a best of 9:46.

Warrior Run's Damein Moser, Shikellamy's Doug Hallman, and Milton's Tanner Walter will aim to get back inside the top ten in D4-AA again this season.
