Pennsylvania XC Week 6 Meets On Tap

Gettysburg Invitational - Meet Preview

Girls' Race

The individual race figures to be close. Hershey's Katie Jones and Woodgrove (VA)'s Sophie Hudak are among the top entries. Jones finished a place ahead of Hudak at Carlisle last week. But there will be plenty of others near the front, including Eastern York's Olivia McLain, Hershey's Faith Mark, Preston (WV)'s Allie Martin, Cedar Cliff's Corinne Firestone.

Others that should contend are Northeastern's Bella Treglia, High Point Baptist's Anna Steich, and Camp Hill's Laura Sakol. All in all, it's a very wide open field set.

Hershey will be the team to beat, on the heels of its 12th place finish. Northeastern, Woodgrove (VA), Cumberland Valley, and Chambersburg will also be in the mix for high finishes.

Boys' Race

The battle for the top spot in the boys race figures to be close too. Mifflin County's Brayden Harris is fresh off a third place finish at Carlisle last week. He'll look to ride that hot streak into Saturday, but he'll receive a good challenge from the likes of Cumberland Valley's Luke Klingenberg, Woodgrove (VA)'s Rylan Pettit, Juniata's Garrett Baublitz, Mifflin County's Chayce Macknair, and Chambersburg's Trentin Overcash.

This is a very solid field here. In the team race, Chambersburg will be one of the teams to beat coming into the meet. Hershey, Cumberland Valley, Mifflin County and Northeastern should make it interesting, though.
