Pennsylvania XC Week 6 Meets On Tap

Bill Lennox Invitational - Meet Preview

Girls' Race

The race for the girls win on Saturday figures to be close with a number of runners entering with season bests around the mid-19s. Bethel Park's Emily Carter may be the one to beat after dropping a big PR of 19:29 to take sixth at the Red, White & Blue Classic in early September. She'll look to follow that up with a winning effort.

Seneca Valley's Megan Aaron will supply a good challenge. She was ninth at both RWB and Foundation. Kierra Shreffler of Kiski Area, McKenna Bowes of Mars Area, and Halle Sebest of Poland Seminary will also contend.

Seneca Valley is the team to beat here, but Pine-Richland and Ohio's Poland Seminary should also post low scores.

Boys' Race

PA#4 Seneca Valley returns to the course a few weeks after coming within three points of North Allegheny at Foundation. SV will follow up that race as the heavy favorites on Saturday. Led by one of the state's top trios with Sam Owori, Seth Ketler and Connor Volk-Klos, look for the Raiders to put down a low score.

Looking to break up that lead SV pack will be Zachary Leachman of Mars Area, who is having a terrific season. He's registered three top ten finishes this season and could be in line for a big race on Saturday. Aden Dressler of Butler, Eli Anish of Taylor Allderdice, Dalton Kalbaugh of Shaler Area, and Matt Gust of Hampton will also be in the hunt for top five finishes.

Seneca Valley is the team to beat here, but Taylor Allderdice, Butler, and Hampton are among the teams looking to get close.
