Southeast PA - Lots of conferences and leagues setting up Districts: In the Philly area, Wissahickon's Krista Simkins did what she does, win, with three individual titles in the 100, 12.21; 200, 24.29; and 400, 55.29 at the Suburban One League-Freedom Division meet at Upper Dublin on 5/15. Octorora's Ryan Fritz cleared 6-10 at the Southern Chester County League meet @ Great Valley 5/15. Also at the meet, Unionville's Katie Thaeder took the distance triple, 2:22.73, 5:19.71 and 11:29.66. At the SOL Colonial Division meet at William Tennent, Jessica Cickay, Council Rock North, went 5:13.84, 11:44.03 for wins, and ran a 2:22.76 to take second in the 800 by less than a second to Pennridge's Erin Koch. She also anchored the winning 4x800 squad to a 9:38.6. At the SOL Patriot meet at Council Rock North (moved from North Penn because of track construction), the North Penn girls went 9:22.2 to take the 4x800. Central Bucks West's Liz Kearins took the 800 in 2:20.1 and the 1600 in 5:16.0. Sean Doyle, North Penn, won the 1600 in 4:25.1 and the 3200 in 9:57.6. Pennsbury went 7:58.2 in the 4x800. At the boys' Inter-Ac League champs at Germantown Academy, Stuard Udis of the host school went 1:57.8 and 4:29.2. Upper Darby swept the boys Central League meet relays, going 42.9, 3:26.4 and 8:17.1. Holy Ghost Prep hosted the Bicentennial Athletic League meet, where Jordan Teuber, Nazareth Academy went 36-04.50 in the Triple Jump, 17-03.75 in the Long Jump, 12.6 in the 100, and 25.7 in the 200, all for wins. Gwynedd-Mercy's Kate Vernon ran 5:03.7 for 1600. At the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, Hill's Nicole Burns went 57.1 for a meet record to go with her 12.5 and 26.0 wins.Mercerburg Academy's Kensuke Kusaka went 1:58.9 to win the 800.

The following summary of the Pioneer Athletic Conferences is courtesy of Mike Carpenter: Katie Noonan-Sessa, Owen J. Roberts, and Sarah Roberts, Perkiomen Valley, each took three individual gold medals. Roberts won the 800 (2:18.2), the 1600 (5:07.9), and the 3200 (11:07.9). Nonnan-Sessa won the 100 (12.2), the 100H (14.2), and the 300H (43.8). Along with teammate Megan Wolf, who won the 400 (58.4) and took 2nd in the 200 (26.7), Noonan-Sessa helped to lead OJR to a PAC10 team championship. Cole Legge, Springford, took home his fair share of medals, winning the 800 (1:59.0), the 1600 (4:33.6), anchoring SF's 4x800 to a win (8:13.8), and took 2nd in the 3200 (9:57.0) to Phoenixville's Chris Castleman (9:49.1). Castleman also took 2nd in the 1600 (4:37.5) and 3rd in the 800 (2:02.5), which went well with teammate Quenton Boyer's wins in the 100 (10.6) and 200 (22.2). Boyer and Castleman helped to lead Phoenixville to the boy's PAC10 team championship.
