Select Action Pix from the 3/26 PTFCA PA Track Classic @ Plymouth-Whitemarsh

Two dozen select action photos from the 3/26 Pennsylvania Track Classic at Plymouth-Whitemarsh HS.


Frosh Karen Shump set a meet record with her winning throw of 42-10.25.

Bradford junior Erin Hannon in the Long Jump, one of her three individual wins,
which included the High Jump and a Meet Record in the Triple Jump (37-08.75).
She was named Female Field Athlete of the Meet.



Methacton frosh Ryann Krais at the start of the 100 Trials, one of her three individual wins,
including the 100 and 300 Hurdles. She was named Female Track Athlete of the Meet.



Timmons lets the competition know he's beginning
the season like he finished the last one, in front.



Brandon Lane, Engineering & Science, powered through and over the barriers
to win the 110 Hurdles in 14.96 seconds.



Krais holds off Hannon to win the 100 Hurdles.


Liz Kearins, Kelly McEldrew, Kahki Mealey and Kate Vernon posted a 12:31.1 to win the DMR.


Keith Capecci anchored Council Rock North, holding off the challenge of Cumberland Valley
anchore Curtis Bixler, to win the DMR in 10:34.2.



Pennridge's Tiffany Kulp powered over the final 800 to tak the 3200 in 11.13.04.


Capecci stayed with Emmaus senior Sam Luff much of the 3200, before Luff used a late gap to win 9.24.74 to 9.25.71.


Heather Panettieri, Caitlin McEldrew, Katy Rodgers and Kate Ross
ran to a 10:13.2 win in the 4x800 for Gwynedd-Mercy.



Central's Thurman Sanders hands off the baton and the lead
to Mitch Stroh on the way to their 8:05.1 win in the 4x800.



Benita Taylor, Engineering & Science, won a quick (for the cold) 800 in 2:16.6.


Sanders was outleaned by Cardinal O'Hara's Matt Willard by .01 in the 800. Willard posted a 2:00.18.


Kristin Reed of Upper Perkiomen, didn't wait too long before racing alone to a 5;13.8 win in the 1600.


Brandon Pomerantz, Council Rock North, held off Radnor's Sean Mahoney
to win the 1600 4:27.8 to 4:29.2.



Kenneth Talley, Khaliff Featherstone, Kevin Talley and Raishine Turner
easily won the 4x100 in 43.37.



Krista Simkins, Wissahickon, doubled, taking the
400 (pictured) in 57.96 and the 200 in 25.34.



Biglerville's Joey Wagner took the 400 in 49.70 seconds.


Simkins leads the finals in the 200.


Simmons (York) was leading, but cramped nearing the line,
as Cheltenham's Zach Shands was happy to take the win in 22.59.
Simmons held on for 3rd.



Kelly McEldrew, Kahki Mealey, Kate Vernon and Maura Ryan won the 4x400 with a come-from-behind
anchor leg, timed in 4.08.49.



Markise King, Kevin Talley, Khaliff Featherstone and James Farrell gave Simon Gratz the 4x400 win with a 3:28.34.


Hannon cleared 5-04 to win the High Jump.


Jim Smith, Cardinal O'Hara, got over at 6-03 for the win.


Terrance Jackson, Penncrest, won the Discus with a throw of 145' 9".


Chris Gabryluk, Northampton, takes the Javelin with a 177-05 effort.


Colin Marks, Council Rock North, was 2nd in the the Triple Jump at 43-10.75.
The event was won by Nate Gelbert, Emmaus, at 44-05.



Tim Ohm, Penncrest, clears 12-06 for 4th. Scott Sherwood, Pennridge, cleared 14-0 for the win.


Chanel WIlliams, Plymouth-Whitemarsh, was leading the 300H into the final straight,
and cramped, but held on for 2nd.
