Wellsboro had been a big part of the pre-season talk to capture the 10/27 PIAA District 4 Championships at Bloomsburg University, but Danville put together a strong top five and took a 40 to 69 win behind the 2nd place 19:31 by senior Mary Brady. South Williamsport\'s Katelyn Baldys capture the AA Girls title in 19:28. In AA Boys, Northeast Bradford were easy winners over Danville. David Bacon led the charge with a 2nd place 17:15, as Danville placed five in the top 18. Canton sophomore Garth Watson took the individual AA title in 17:00. In AAA Girls, Lindsey Scheller posted the best time of the day, winning in 19:12 to lead her Shikellamy team to a berth at Hershey. The five scorers were all in the top 12. The Shikellamy boys were 21 points better than Jersey Shore in AAA behind a 17:20 win by sophomore Troy Seiberling.
