We're only in our third year, but in 2011, PTXC-3 is not only attracting some of the top PA girls' programs from the past decade, but athletes from NINE of the 12 PIAA Districts, PLUS top programs from both Virginia, and now, New Jersey.
The latest girls team to sign on is defending AAA runner-up West Chester Henderson - who will now face off with the returning state champs from Pennsbury. On paper (or at least digitally in our database), these two programs are the top returning squads in the state.
The latest boys team to sign on is Morris Hills NJ boys, a program that has qualified for Nike Cross Nationals, and is consistently among the top Group II teams in the Garden State - where in 2011, they should be among the top three returners.
From PA, the list now includes athletes and/or athletes from nine PA districts, including 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 12. Not bad!
From a team perspective, out of a possible 24 AA or AAA titles over the past 12 seasons, 11 have been won by teams coming to PTXC-3. The list below includes top five finishes as well.
