Three of PA\'s best 400m guys offered a possible preview of a hot 400 final at States this year, with three breaking 51 seconds. Coatesville\'s Clarence Smith busted a big triple jump. Those performances, plus the girls 60H, 60m, and 400 led five US#1 performances for the meet. The freshman girls continue to shine in the early going in PA.

The Simon Gratz boys 4x200 ran a 1:28.25 to win the event at the Marine Corps Holiday Classic 12/28 at the New York Armory. The time is a meet record, and also breaks the 1:28.49 state indoor record set by Glen Mills in 2002. They also won the Sprint Medley Relay in 3:38.36, and the 4x400 in 3:20.14.

It took us over an hour just to get out of the stadium area. So, I just came home and crashed. I\'ll be catching up on summaries, elites and more this afternoon and tomorrow.
