Credited as one of the nation's foremost high school cross-country events, the Great American Cross-Country Festival returns to Cary after a three year hiatus in Hoover, Alabama.

All the performances from Tuesday's DVGTCA meet are in the rankings. We need results from the PCL meet Wednesday. And the DVGTCA meet set for Friday the 19th was cancelled due to the weather.

Need someone who is not only knowledgeable of all the throws but dedicated and brings enthusiasm to the program. And Villa Maria Academy in Malvern is looking for part-time jumps or sprints coach.

The Hill School Invitational was held Wed at Ursinus... and Ben Furcht of Lower Merion finished 31st in the Foot Locker Nationals, running 16:07. Former LaSalle College HS runner Phil Wood was 30th, three seconds ahead of Furcht.

Foot Locker-bound Ben Furch ran 8:56.0 solo to capture the 3000. North Allegheny finished 12th in the US at NXN.
