Which boys' team will have the top relays heading into this indoor track and field season?
Using last year's top times, we can speculate with the data on which teams could put together a strong quartet to form a strong relay squad. With the help of our XC Team Scores feature, we calculated which teams would form the best relays. To qualify, each team must have at least four returners with recorded indoor performances in the open event that the relay corresponds to (200m, 400m, or 800m).
We then added up those times to get a total relay time and ranked them. These rankings don't include transfers or freshmen. It is not meant to be a prediction on how we think each relay will play out on the state level, but rather to speculate on which teams have the best stock of returners to form a solid relay in each event.
