How did PA's jumpers perform this season compared to last season?
We analyzed the data to determine how much the girls of Pennsylvania have improved from 2017 to 2018. Many girls saw some big improvements, like North Allegheny's Casey Burton (above), who PR'd by two inches in the long jump this spring from last year.
To be included in the list, athletes have to have performances in the MileSplit database in the particular jumps event both in 2017 and 2018. We only included athletes that improved upon their 2017 best.
The chart below gives each athlete's 2017 best, along with their 2018 best. On the far right and sorted is the athletes's improvement in feet. We've listed the athletes that had season bests stay the same or improve this season.
