Additional InformationOn behalf of the Selinsgrove Area School District and the Selinsgrove Area Boys' and Girls' track teams, we would like to invite your team to participate in the 2012 Selinsgrove Classic Track and Field Meet.
You are limited to Three athletes per event.
Medals will be awarded to the top six athletes in each event. No team score will be kept.
The Selinsgrove track is a six lane all weather surface. There are two pits for long and triple jump with all-weather surface runways.The long jump and triple jump will be run as an open pit for 90 minutes. The shot and discus circles are concrete. The javelin runway is grass. The athletes may not wear spikes longer than 1/4 inch on the track.
The timing will be done with an FAT timing system.
This year's meet is scheduled for Saturday, April 7
There will be a coaches meeting beginning at 9:15am.
There will be no weigh ins.
The first event is scheduled for 10:00am.
All events will be finals.
The entry fee is $100.00 per team ($200.00 per combined teams). Checks must be received by April 4 - You WILL NOT be able to participate if a Check is not received by this date. 10:00-11:30: Jump: Open pit, (Boys & Girls) 3 jumps, no finals
12:00-1:30: Triple Jump: Open pit, (Boys & Girls) 3 jumps, no finals
10:00: Pole Vault: Girls followed by Boys (Starting heights: 7'-6"& 9'-6")
10:00: High Jump: Boys followed by Girls (Starting Heights: 5'4" & 4'6")
10:00: Discus: Girls
10:00: Javelin: Boys
12:00: Shot Put Boys followed by Boys Discus
12:00: Javelin Girls followed by Girls Shot Put
