ANNUAL TRACK AND FIELD INVITATIONAL

Once the meet is closed additional entries will not be accepted. There will no additions on the day of the meet. Scratches will be done at the coaches meeting.

Each team will be able to enter 3 athletes, however only 2 athletes will be able to compete.
Scratch In order to add an athlete, all 3 members must be scratched from the event.
Each team will be able to enter 1 relay team with 6 athletes, only 4 will be able to run.
All field events and 100-meter prelims will begin at 2:00PM.
Each contestant will be allowed 3 attempts in the field.
The top 7 in the field will go to the finals.
The top 6 finishers in all events will receive awards.
Scoring for the meet will be 10-8-6-4-2-1 for first through sixth respectively.
The following awards will be given:
o Medals to the first six places
o Boys and Girls team championship plaques
o Boys and Girls team runner-up plaques
o Boys and Girls MVP track plaques
o Boys and Girls MVP field plaques
o Total points in track or field will determine the MVP awards honoring the outstanding performers. The team and runner-up trophies will be awarded at the conclusion of the meet. All are encouraged to stay and honor the award winners.
1/8 pin spikes only
Starting blocks will be provided.
Come dressed / no showers
Concession stand will be open all day, as will restroom facilities. T-shirts will be sold.
We plan to be finished by 9:30PM.
Each school is responsible to police their area before leaving.
Each school will be assigned an event to work.
Any coach, athlete, spectator not competing or officiating is not allowed on the field and is subject to disqualification or removal from the stadium.

*Both pits will be used for the jumping events.
The boys pole vault will begin at 10 and will be raised at 6 intervals. The girls pole vault will begin at 7 and will be raised at 6 intervals. The boys high jump will begin at 56 and will be raised at 2 intervals. The girls high jump will begin at 46 and will be raised at 2 intervals.
In the shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and triple jump, each competitor will receive 3 throws or jumps. The (7) seven best attempts will be judged and ranked from first to seventh best. These 7 marks will determine the 7 finalists who will receive 3 more attempts.
