Information Sheet

The following are some rules and information that you and your athletes should know about the All League meet this year at DuBois Area.

1. DuBois Area track and runways are made with polyurethane. Only 1/8 spikes may be used. The starter will check all spikes.
NO SPIKES ARE TO BE WORN IN THE STANDS. NO SPIKES ARE TO BE WORN ON THE ARTIFICIAL TURF!!

2. Coaches you must enter your athletes using the Milesplit.com site @ http://pa.milesplit.com/meets/calendar before Sunday April 21st at 10:00 A.M.

3. Competitors are to warm-up outside of the track and football field area. Only those athletes who are in the announced events will be allowed in the track area.

4. There is a small bathroom available behind the concession stand. Locker rooms are available in the high school if needed.

5. NO FOOD, DRINKS, OR WATER BOTTLES ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE TRACK AREA!

6. Portable radios and noise makers of any kind are prohibited.

7. National Federation of State High School Associates rules will govern the meet.

8. Please inform your athletes to pay attention to Public Address System for announcements for events, times, and places. All track events will report to the Clerking Area set up at the High Jump end of the track. All field events will report to their event area.

9. Officials, judges, and starter are responsible for calling fouls.

10. Competitors excused to compete in another event will have ten minutes to return to the excused event for their next trial.

11. Only athletic tape can be used for marks on the track surface for relay races.

12. One minute to initiate a throw or jump after being called. Exception is pole vault one and a half minutes.

13. Runners must remain in their lane until dismissed by the head timer.

14. Each athlete may participate in four events maximum, this includes relays. A maximum of four competitors per school may be entered in each event.

15. The fastest heat will run LAST.

16. There will be a coaches meeting at 3:30 in the shot put area of the track. Please have throwers, boys high jump, long jump and girls pole vault, triple jump ready to compete at 4:00 sharp.

17. All scratches must be made before the meet begins.

Please inform your athletes to throw their trash into the trash barrels provided throughout the stadium. If there is any problem, contact any DuBois coach or event worker. Thank you.
